Lifestyle & Marketing: Scenic Beacon

A lifestyle shoot with Shelter Upstate for building management company Scenic Beacon.

Scenic Beacon own several apartment buildings in Beacon NY, and hired us to take new photos for their website and marketing materials. We photographed the exteriors of the apartment buildings, one of their rental apartments, a party scene on the roof top of one of their buildings, as well as a lifestyle shoot with models out and about in Beacon. We did this shoot over three days. We took one day for exteriors, one day for interiors, and a third day for shooting locations in and around Beacon with our models.

The Apartment

I styled and Winona shot one of the Scenic Beacon rental apartments. The apartment has an open plan living space with two bedrooms (one of which I turned into an office), two bathrooms, and an upstairs terrace with beautiful mountain views. The purpose of the photos are to showcase the apartments to potential new renters. Many of their clients commute into the city for work by train from Beacon.

Beacon Lifestyle

For the lifestyle shoot we spent the day visiting various different locations in and around the town of Beacon with our models Anya and Elwin. We took photos at a local coffee shop, a well known glass blowing factory, the Beacon train station, Mt Beacon and a riverside park.

Hudson Beach Glass

Hudson Beach Glass is located in a restored firehouse on the main street in Beacon and includes a showroom, a glass blowing demo studio and art gallery. They feature local artists and makers and are a vibrant part of Beacon life.

The Nature

We took our models hiking at Mt Beacon, and to a couple different local parks to show a few of the different options for spending time in nature in Beacon, and embracing the Beacon lifestyle.

There are so many outdoor spaces to enjoy here.

The Tasting Room

Dennings Point Distillery craft artisanal spirits in Beacon’s downtown. You can visit their tasting room and get a tour of their facilities.
